Puliima 2011 National Indigenous Languages and Technology Forum

Members of the Eastern States Aboriginal Languages Group are taking a keen role in supporting the planning and consultation for the Puliima National Indigenous Languages and Technology Forum coming up in Brisbane this May.

Its recommend that those with an interest in participating in the Forum keep an eye on the Arwarbukarl Cultural Resource Association website as Registrations are open and positions limited.

“Puliima 2011 National Indigenous Languages Technology Forum” will be held at the State Library of Queensland in Brisbane from Wednesday the 11th of May through till Friday the 13th May 2011. The 2011 Puliima Forum will include the first ever Indigenous linguists forum to be run as an optional workshop on the 13th May.

The conference will comprise of the following:
•    Tuesday 10th May, 6pm evening pre-conference get together (for those that arrive early),
•    Wednesday 11th May, Puliima Day 1,
•    Thursday 12th May, Puliima Day 2,
•    Friday 13th May, Optional Events: Indigenous Linguists Forum, Focus Workshops,

The ACRA has announced the Call for Presenters and Exhibitors. Submissions for Expressions of Interest to Present or Exhibit see the website for further details.
